Allie Cable is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and a graduate of Seattle Pacific University’s Music Therapy program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy with Emphases in Psychology and Special Education.
Following her graduation in June 2019, she completed her clinical music therapy internship at Áegis Living of Queen Anne on Galer, an assisted living/memory care community in Seattle, WA. There, she worked for 7 months under their community’s music therapist, developing her clinical skillset and knowledge of music therapy in dementia care.
Since completing her training, Allie achieved her Board-Certified status in November 2020. This gave her the opportunity to become a practicing Music Therapist at Áegis Living of Issaquah, the assisted living community she has served since June of that same year.
Working with seniors is special to Allie. Her heart for this population roots from her mom, who provides dental hygiene services to residents in long-term care communities. Going into music therapy training, Allie knew where her heart was leading her - through her mom’s work and later her own, she was always able to see what makes this population special. She is excited to work with your community by bringing music and growth into your residents’ lives!
